Story

I, Hamlet will confront its audience with a unique interpretation of the famous Shakespearean play.

The original "cold" and rational (3rd person) point of view of the plot's development and the characters' relations is shifted now to a "hot" and emotional (1st person) angle - the point of view of Hamlet himself.

Thus the spectator is presented with the stunning chance to experience the deep and highly empathic self-identification process together with the character and to better understand the difficulties which the man has to overcome on the way to his spiritual growth.

The above goal is achieved through an avant-garde staging which seamlessly brings together three fundamental artistic components:

A series of newly written poetic soliloquies complementing the initial Shakespearean text and revealing Hamlet's self-analysis, one which intuitively corresponds to the sacred Shambala teachings, and especially, one which bears a fascinating resemblance to the Universal Code of the Seven Initiations;

A series of original metaphoric film excerpts intended to illustrate Hamlet's nightmares, remembrances and visions. These take place in the "twilight zone" of his multi-faceted "inner eye" and depict his soul's incessant striving for self-perfection and harmony;

A series of originally designed and choreographed modern dances which translate into flesh and blood the painful outer world around Hamlet, and which provoke his desperate fight (to his own death) for the final restoration of his world's long-dreamed of perfection.

These three components are further energized by the breath-taking musical score by Mark Snow (composer of The X-Files television show) and Paul Hiaumet.
