Production

This unique production holds true to the Sacred Dramas model:
dance, theatre, film, digital effects and documentary - all synthesized
into a cohesive whole - performed live and filmed at a sacred site,
then digitally edited and streamed over the web.

The rugged setting created many challenges for the production,
not the least of which was the strenuous 90 minute horseback
ride to and from the set each day.

While the bulk of the transportation duties were handled by the
horse teams, many of the production's most critical elements
(generators, lighting) could only be delivered via helicopter.

A huge, sixty foot circular stage was
designed and built at the edge of the
   highest lake.

I, Hamlet is a true multi-national production - utilizing world-class
performers and designers from North and South America and Europe.

The performers rehearsed for four months in Sofia, while the composers
and choreographers worked feverishly to keep pace.

The company then moved to Rila mountains for the grueling, month-long
filming and production process.
