Location

The performance was staged and filmed at the highest peak 
in Bulgaria's  Rila mountains (8,200 ft. above the sea level) - 
at one  of the seven sacred Rila lakes .

This rugged, natural Alpine site
provides a stunning backdrop
for the filming of I, Hamlet as well
as creating massive challenges
for the cast, crew and producers.

This beautiful locale was considered
a sacred site by the spiritual master Beinsa Duono,
whose followers still perform their Paneurythmy
exercises here each spring.
